The Belair Stable Museum is a non-profit institution located in Bowie, Maryland. Originally founded in 1907, the museum now highlights Belair’s 200-year horse racing legacy and features its other agricultural uses. This project began with a physical site visit and photography to better understand the type of environment and audience of the museum. An identity was created to capture the essence of the museum: remembering the success of the horses that once lived there. The logo features an illustration of a horse with the mane being created by three crowns to represent the two horses of Belair Stables, Gallant Fox and Omaha, that were winners of the Triple Crown.
