The Essence Design System is Temaki’s guidelines for creating web-based visuals. Temaki is a streaming service whose target audience is millennials. By starting with research and studying other successful design systems, best practices were implemented in the foundations of this design system. This was done by attention to color choice, spacing, typography, and how elements interact with the user.
